1. Do you edit all genres?
Yes, I love editing all genres! I have professional experience editing non-fiction books and children's books with National Geographic. I have completed dozens of freelance editing projects many other genres including: self-help, romance, mystery, thrillers, biography, memoir, and historical fiction.

2. Do you edit writing projects that aren't book manuscripts?
Yes! I am happy to edit all of your writing projects, including full proposals, query letters, blog content, resumes, and essays.

3. What do you deliver to a client?
With proofreading and line-editing options, I will send you two documents upon completing my edit: 1) A version with track changes and comments included, and 2) A “clean” copy with all track changes and comments already accepted. With developmental editing, I will include these two documents plus a separate Word Document with thorough comments, suggestions, and observations about what a publisher may change with your manuscript.

4. What format should my manuscript or document be in before sending it over to you for edits?
Please submit a Microsoft word document with 8.5 x 11 standard margins, with the text left-justified. The font size should be 12 point, and I prefer Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial.
5. What should I do if I looked at pricing and my document is over 10,000 words?
Please message me with your total word count, and I will get back to you with a price estimate.

6. How do I know you'll deliver good work?
You can always expect clarity, timeliness, honesty, and professionalism. I only take on projects I have the time and capacity for, and because of that, I can promise to do your project justice and give it the time and attention it deserves. I believe that the best editors are the best communicators.
